The LEGO® LED Key Light brings a great torch shaped as a mini figure. The key chain attaches to backpacks, keys or can simply hang ready for when required. Press the character’s chest to get a bright LED light. The minifigure is small and light enough to ride inconspicuously until its lighting services are needed. Identify relaunch retail partners in grocery and independent retail channels
The original LEGO® lights were launched in circa 2010 and sold phenomenally well across all retail channels through the appointed partner Re:Creation Plc. The following decade saw prices rise and exchange rate variances move against sterling causing the cost of this fantastic item to increase. In 2020 KAP TOYS were appointed to relaunch the line.
We launched with an increased retail price point but supported with new licensed characters including the MANDALORIAN® and a very cute DUPLO® BABY YODA! We secured a grocery partner and a large number of independent/specialty retailers but we were stymied by going into the covid19 Christmas with lockdowns and significant periods of uncertainty.
We delivered high levels of sell through with our retail partners but continued cost increases in the product mean that our work on this part of the LEGO® product line will come to a conclusion in 2023. It has been an honour and a privilege to represent such fantastic product and the world famous brand of LEGO®
